Am animated still from She-Ra and the Princesses of Power

Variety says that Nicole Kassell has been hired as the series director for the live-action She-Ra. Kassell is an executive producer and director who has worked on shows such as Watchmen and Westworld. It would be the first time She-Ra appeared in a live-action show if Amazon were to ask Kassell to bring her to the screen.

She-Ra is still in its infancy. No writers have been hired to work on the pilot or any other part of the show. We don't have much else of anything to do since we have Kassell and Bezos attached. The only thing we have is that this will be an independent project, and that is what it has been stated that DreamWorks Animation will be on board as an executive producer.

She-Ra and the Princesses of Power was first aired in the year. It was Stevenson's first venture into film, and the series was complex and nuanced, and received multiple awards. She-Ra the Princess of Power was a spinoff show of He-Man that ran from 1985-87. We will keep you updated on the live-action She-Ra series.
