Senate Holds Confirmation Hearing For Attorney General Nominee William Barr

The Senate Judiciary Committee will hold a confirmation hearing for Bill Barr on January 15, 2019.

According to an unnamed source, Barr is inclined to cooperate with the committee.

The committee hasn't decided whether to request Barr's presence at the hearings.

Bennie Thompson told CBS in January that the committee had already taken part in more informal conversations with Barr.

Barr broke ranks with Trump after he lied about voter fraud in the 2020 election.
