Who needs a family photo album when you have a fridge?

A new and extremely exploitable option is being added to its line of fridges. You can have any photo or image you want printed on the double doors of the unit if you spend $500 on the company. You could choose a piece of artwork, a child's artwork, or put your own face on the fridge for no reason at all.

If you want to be notified when the option launches for buyers, you can sign up here, and if you already own a Bespoke fridge, you can order the door panels separately and swap them in. The cost is $250 a panel, and it will take about 8 weeks to print and ship.

New from Samsung: create an incredibly ugly fridge.

The Bespoke line of fridges is marketed by the company. In the UK, for example, you can buy units with the Union Jack in time for Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee, if you choose to.

I think that giving customers the option to add any image they want will lead to some very, very ugly fridges in people's kitchens. It will be interesting to see if the customization app limits images on grounds of taste or copyright.

Customers can submit a design of their choice.
