Anthony Elanga is a player for Manchester United.

The emergence of the Sweden international has been one of the few positives. The winger/forward was given a lot of confidence by the interim manager, who saw a lot of potential in the youngster. One of the better Manchester United players when it comes to winning the ball back, Elanga is also one of the better players when it comes to pressing.

Cucurella is a LB for the Seagulls.

Cucurella, a graduate of the famous Barcelona academy, has obvious quality on the ball and has just kept getting better and better after signing for the Seagulls. He is equally comfortable at left-back as he is on the left-hand side of the middle, but he is even more effective as an overlap centre-back because he always looks to progress with the ball. Cucurella averages three crosses per game and has been linked with a move to Manchester City.

Anthony Gordon is a footballer.

In a dismal season, the winger has been a key part of the fight to stay in the league. The England under-21 international's skill on the ball and high-intensity style make him somewhat underappreciated, but he has the technique and vision to make a difference when moving into central areas. Gordon is one of the most effective dribblers in the league, though he still needs to improve.

Vitaliy Mykolenko was mentioned as an honorable mention. He can struggle with the defensive side of the game, but he has already shown positive flashes as a left-back or higher up the pitch.

The CM is Jacob Ramsey.

The England U21 player has built on a promising 25 games last season to become a regular this year. Ramsey is a first-class ball carrier who is able to advance with the ball when space opens, and he has six progressive carries on average per game. Ramsey could be in line for a senior England call-up next season, as he has a fine finish and Incisive in his movement.

Ryan Sessegnon is a LB for Spurs.

The most unexpected success story of the season. When he returned from Hoffenheim, the future of the former Cottager looked like it would be away from Spurs. Sessegnon has been given a new lease of life by Antonio Conte, and the left wing-back has responded by being one of the Italian's most productive players. He provided a constant creative outlet in the crucial home win against Burnley and was particularly impressive in the win against the North London derby.

Oliver Skipp was mentioned as an honorable mention. After a promising start to the season in which he removed any doubt as to whether he was up to the top flight, he was injured in January and had to have surgery.

CM, Crystal Palace, is a man by the name of Conor Gallagher.

After a number of loan spells, Gallagher has yet to play a senior game for Crystal Palace. He has stepped up this season and scored eight goals, running the Palace midfield himself from August onwards. Constantly on the move, always wanting to get on the ball, and always dedicated to his defensive work, Gallagher can appear to be everywhere on the pitch. He was rewarded with a senior England call-up in November, and it would be a surprise if he wasn't given a chance next season.

Ben Johnson is a running back for West Ham.

Johnson has been on the West Ham first team since the beginning of the year but has only played backup. Johnson was able to play on either side of the defence or at wing-back because of hisVersatility, and he took it with both hands. He has 33 games under his belt and is now a regular. Johnson has impressed more on the defensive side of the game than he has on the offensive side.

Tyrick Mitchell is an LB for Crystal Palace.

Crystal Palace's left-back can look back on an impressive season in the top flight. His eagerness to press and regain possession high up the pitch has proved more useful for Patrick Vieira's side, while his pace makes him hard to beat in defensive battles. He was one of the most proactive ball-winners in the league with 3.30 tackles per game and was nominated for the Young Player of the Year award.

The CM is Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall.

The former chief executive and sporting director at AS Monaco is a Norwegian football scout and executive. He will write about soccer and the process of scouting.

Dewsbury-Hall enjoyed a rewarding year on loan with Luton, and the emergence of theLeicesterMidfielder would have come as no surprise to Championship followers. The academy graduate has stood out this season. He covers a lot of ground, is active in his pressing duties, and has a fine left foot. Few players are better at carrying the ball forward in counter- attacks than Dewsbury-Hall.

Tino Livramento is a football player.

Livramento's journey from playing academy football at Chelsea to becoming a regular in the league is nothing short of amazing. He had looked lively and confident until a recent drop in form in which he was liable to make marking errors. Livramento is particularly clever with his movement in the opposing half, not just looking for the ball in wide positions, but also exploiting space to play combination passes. His injury at the end of April was a blow, but hopefully he can get back to his best next year.

Mohammed Salisu, 23, CB was mentioned as an honorable mention. The centre-back is known for his ability to deal with anything that comes his way, with an average of four tackles and 17 challenges per game. He only made his first-team debut after six months after joining the Saints. He has shown himself capable of being a regular this season.
