First things first, you don't need to see the series to understand the movie. You will get it all the first five minutes. We did not make any homework for you. You are invited to come outside. You don't need to know anything.

It is safe to assume that many of the people who attend The Bob's Burgers Movie will be Bob's Burgers fans. We wanted people to come at it fresh and still enjoy the characters because we were trying to not make it too full of inside references. I think we did a good job.

It's tempting to think that The Bob's Burgers Movie has been finished for months, since the start of production. It feels like last week, according to Bouchard, and that is most definitely not the case. We were determined to keep working and take every moment they gave us. The story changed during the delays. It wasn't like it changed a lot. We were excited to take advantage of the jokes, change the picture, and fool around with the sound. Everything was in our hands until they tore it from our fingers.

It was a challenge to translate Bob's Burgers into The Bob's Burgers Movie. There are 11 hours of Bob's Burgers. We only have a few weeks to focus on each episode. We had four years for an hour and a half and it wasn't that big of a stretch on the movie. It was all the stuff we wanted to do on the show and now we can do it in the movie.

The season finale of Bob's Burgers was on May 22, with a 13th on the way. The show's longevity isn't something that Bouchard takes for granted. We enjoyed making the movie. It is a privilege and a pleasure. We are surprised that it is hard to make a show that long. You think there will be an infinite number of stories, but it turns out that's not true. You have to try to get in between the 200 episodes that we have done. If you want the show to be fresh and still have new things to say, the target is getting smaller. The challenge is something we love. The characters think they are deserving of more stories. They keep us going, coming back and trying to figure out how to keep going, and we'll go as long as we can.

Bob's Burgers fans have wondered how the movie fits into the show's continuity, and Bouchard addressed that question. This is sort of a circular space where this family seems to be going through a lot of different things over the course of a year. That's not continuity at all.

He said that they had made a deal with the fans, but that it wasn't narrative growth over time. It has to fit in there for the movie. We are starting to think about the episodes that are going to air after the movie, and they are going to be in the shadow of something that happens in the movie. They also happened before. The movie happened before the first episode. This is a weird game to play, but it is enjoyable.

Bob, voiced by H. Jon Benjamin, is a really good cook with bad business sense, or is he a bad cook? A guy came in. Maybe that is indicative of a food problem. There is a Burger of the Day. There are flights of creativity that Bob has, and he loves his food. Loren might have won the argument over the years. It has been pointed out by many chefs that they like the Burger of the Day element. They think it's a sign that Bob is a good cook.

Louise and her bunny ears are finally revealed in The Bob's Burgers Movie. When the movie opens May 27 in theaters, we will find out the answer to that.
