Norwegian Cruise Line says to bring the little ones on board this summer. All of its kids clubs will be open and staffed.
In a casual conversation with about 50 members of the international media onboard Pride of America on Tuesday, Norwegian Cruise Line president and CEO Harry Sommer said the children's programs have been opening on a ship-by-ship basis. Every club on every NCL ship will be ready by June 1.
Sommer said that they are trying to reduce the capacity a little because children under 5 are not vaccine free.
NCL is considering the option of charging Americans returning from Europe for Covid tests, which are free today.
He said that Pete Buttigieg, the U.S. transportation secretary, told him that the Covid testing for inbound travelers may be eliminated this summer.
