After a case of history repeating,Liverpool have earned the chance to find out if destiny is calling.

The title race will go to the final day of the season after the Reds beat Saints.

For the second time in seven days, the manager of the team made changes, watched his team fall behind and then responded impressively to win. It felt like a harder test of the resolve of the Reds, coming less than 72 hours after their FA Cup final win over the Blues, a draining exertion that prompted nine changes to the manager.

Trent Alexander-Arnold, Andrew Robertson and Sadio Mane were all left out completely, while Thiago Alcantara, Naby Keita, and others were also missing.

The madcap menagerie assembled for this task was perfectly encapsulated by the fact that James Milner began as a No. 6 with Harvey Elliott playing in the middle. It was the first time they had been named in a starting lineup together, and Milner made his debut in the premier league in November 2002.

They are a team for the ages. The quadruple bid is still alive despite Manchester City holding a one-point advantage over the weekend.

If it had not worked out, it would have been 1,000 percent my responsibility. I thought they did a great job.

I am happy about the performance because it was touching. Wow, these boys. When you let the cars out of the garage, they go like this. I am not sure when he played last time, but it is a crime he is not playing more often.

It is really tough for the boys, but this group makes it possible for things to happen. It is exceptional and they showed it again tonight.

The contest was mostly in name only. The opening goal was a bolt out of the blue, a well-struck shot which benefited both from a deflection of Milner and the VAR's decision not to revisit a foul by Lyanco on Jota in the build-up.

The Japan international scored his 10th goal of the season in the 27th minute after Jota laid the ball off to him.

Minamino spent the second half of last season on loan at Saints, starting nine games, more than the five he has managed for the Reds. Minamino was the top-scorer in the FA Cup and League this season, and he was the only other player to have scored at least three goals.

The pressure on the goal was not taken into account when Henderson came on with Milner moving to right-back.

Matip may not have known much about the winner, coming as it did as he battled with Kyle Walker, but it was no less than deserved.

Many of the home crowd booed and 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611

The most defiant resistance all night came from the stadium DJ, who wanted to make fun of the opposition. Three days after the booing of the English national anthem and multiple members of the Royal Family, the interval playlist was pointed out. The Sex Pistols followed by God Save The Queen, followed by Spin Doctors, and then Meatloaf's Two Out of Three Ain't Bad.

All that stands in the way of City and a fourth title in five years is Steven Gerrard, the most influential player of the era now in charge of Villa. The Reds need to beat Wolves to have a chance of getting a favour from their former talisman. He won't be making contact.

There is no reason to talk to him, he wants to win.

The title is unlikely because City play at home against Villa.

The mischievous DJ greeted full-time with the song "Mr. Brightside" by the Killers, which includes the line "But it's just the price I pay, destiny is calling me."

The 63-game campaign has left many players fatigued or carrying injuries. On Sunday, we will find out if destiny is on their side.
