The Magic have won the NBA draft lottery for the fourth time.

The Houston Rockets and Detroit Pistons had a chance to get the top pick.

The Magic have not had a chance to pick No. 1 since 2004. In 1992 and 1993, Chris Webber was traded to Golden State forPenny Hardaway and three future first-rounders.

James Harden was drafted by Oklahoma City in 2009, the first top-four pick in franchise history. The trade that sent Paul George to the LA Clippers has resulted in a second lottery pick for the OKC.

The Houston Astros had the No. 2 pick in last year's draft. It is the first time in a long time that the Rockets have picked in the top four in consecutive years.

The Kings were the only team that had a chance to jump into the top four, and they were the only team that didn't have the best four odds. The Pistons will pick fifth.

1. Orlando Magic
2. Oklahoma City Thunder
3. Houston Rockets
4. Sacramento Kings
5. Detroit Pistons
6. Indiana Pacers
7. Portland Trail Blazers
8. New Orleans Pelicans (via Lakers)
9. San Antonio Spurs
10. Washington Wizards
11. New York Knicks
12. Oklahoma City Thunder (via Clippers)
13. Charlotte Hornets
14. Cleveland Cavaliers

The Pacers have not had a top-nine pick since 1989. Damian Lillard represented the Portland Trail blazers at the lottery.

The Los Angeles Lakers pick fell in the top 10, so the New Orleans Pelicans got it.

The pick would have been part of the trade that sent Steven Adams and Eric Bledsoe to Memphis if it had not been for the fact that it had a 99.6% chance of conferring to the New Orleans.

Cleveland will get a second-round pick in 2022, as well as a second-round pick in New Orleans in 2025.

The San Antonio Spurs, Washington Wizards, New York Knicks, Charlotte Hornets, and the Cleveland Indians all won lottery tickets.
