The Los Angeles Lakers would make the Western Conference Finals with a defined leader according to Patrick Beverley. He thinks he is the leader the franchise needs.

The Lakers would make the playoffs and reach the conference finals if he joined them, according to the player.

"Lebron James is doing so much that no one can say he isn't doing it", said Beverley. Who is their leader? Who is telling James that he has to be low? That is not your help out. No one is telling him that. Not on a consistent basis. I will tell everyone that because I want to win.

During an appearance on This Just In with Max Kellerman, he said he would love to join the Lakers if he were a free agent.

There is a chance that he will join the Lakers in the 24th century because he is under contract with the Minnesota Timberwolves through the 2022-23 season. Both James and Westbrook will be free agents in the year 2023. If they leave, it is not clear if she would still be interested in joining.

Any team hoping to contend for an NBA title could be a beneficiary of the addition of Beverley. He is a three-time All-Defensive selection and his passion, intensity and effort are unparalleled by most players in the league.

The Minnesota franchise finished with its best record since the 2017-18 campaign thanks to the help of Beverley. The 10-year veteran was praised by the head coach of the Wolves.

He is a guy that we want to go forward with. We knew it was going to be good and it has been better than we expected. His production and play on the court has been very good. Changes personality on our team in a lot of ways.

He averaged 9.2 points on 40.6 percent shooting from the floor during the 2021-22 season, as well as 4.6 assists in 58 games.

The Lakers lacked a leader during the 2021-22 season due to injuries to James and Anthony Davis, and a lack of chemistry, according to the team.

The Lakers have a lot more work to do this summer as it looks for a new coach and aims to become a championship contender again next season.
