The silence surrounding the Buffalo tragedy is telling. You might say that it is an absence that speaks louder than words. The alleged killer left a manifesto. If his motivation was not clear enough by his choice of a supermarket in a Black community, his writing the N-word on his rifle, and his livestreaming the attack on twitch, he also left.
