Houghton has made 129 international appearances for England and Great Britain

The England squad for the Women's Euros has a former captain in it.

Despite being out recently, Fran Kirby andJill Scott are also included.

Nobbs picked up a knee injury earlier this month and was left out.

In the last three major tournaments, Houghton has been England's captain, but she has handed over the reins to her successor, who will be named later.

Kelly, who returned from a lengthy lay-off for Manchester City last month, has not been included in the England squad under new boss Steve McLaren.

Scott has not played since making her 161st international appearance in England's 10-0 win over North Macedonia in the Women's World Cup qualifiers.

The first of three warm-up games for England will be played in Wolves on June 16.

The Lionesses will play the Netherlands on June 24th and then play Switzerland on June 30th in Switzerland.

England will have to submit their final squad for the Women's Euros on June 26th, before they face Austria in the tournament opener on July 6th.

We are hoping to have them back on the pitch when the pre-camps start, so we can see where they are.

The forwards are: Beth England, Lauren Hemp, Ellen White, Nikita Parris, and Alessia Russo.
