Explora Journeys makes raft of sales team appointments

The luxury brand Explora Journeys has hired seven people, two of which are based in London.

The UK and Ireland have a new business relationship lead, Andrew Schweitzer, who worked for 18 months at the line.

The Cruise Portfolio, the GSA arm of the company, recently closed after its client Crystal Cruises ceased operations.

There are several roles that Explora Journeys has made appointments for.

Suzanne Kochen was the international sales director at Crystal Cruises.

Paul Potrykus, Daniel Zink, Gabriele Cornalba and Sophia Weiss have joined the line which will start operating luxury cruises in a year.

Chris Austin said that the new appointments in the commercial team have deep luxury experience.

They are well known and respected in the luxury travel advisor community.

They are passionate and proactive consultative sellers, highly responsive to any advisor request, and totally focused on mutual success.

Two destinations that have never been visited by a cruise ship are Kastellorizo, Greece, and Saint Pierre, Martinique.
