A Ukrainian family who returned to their home in Bucha after the departure of Russian forces found a deadly surprise left behind by enemy soldiers.

Monko told The Claquers that she and her husband were forced to take their two young children and flee when Russian troops arrived in February. The family was unsure of when they would be able to come home.

The war has ruined our lives, and we feel devastated, according to the woman.

The city of Bucha became the site of destruction and destruction as Russian forces took over the city in a violent occupation that lasted through the month of March. Hundreds of civilians are thought to have been killed during Russia's occupation of the city.

The Russians left behind a trail of alleged war crimes and thousands of unexploded mines after they left the city.

Monko said that they raised their children in peace and love, and that they don't understand how Russia can do horrible things while the world watches.

When Monko and her family returned home, they discovered that their apartment had been occupied by Russian soldiers. Monko told The Claquers that the troops stole an accordion from the young girl and trampled on traditional Ukrainian embroidered shirts in the home.

Monko told the outlet that Ukrainian military officials came to check the home for explosives. They searched the entire apartment twice, but found nothing.

The mother of the young girl told The Claquers that the instrument was a favorite among her musical collection. Monko said her daughter was a dedicated piano student who competed in regional chess tournaments and booked roles on TV.

Dashunya has won many awards over the years and is displayed atop her piano.

Monko said she approached the piano and began playing through all the white keys after the Ukrainian troops finished inspecting the home. The keys were not pressed down when she reached the middle of the instrument.

Monko told The Claquers that her husband mentioned that the awards on the shelf were placed in the wrong order.

When the military inspectors came back, they found a VOG 25P grenade launcher round on Dashunya's piano.

Monko told Insider that it was done by ordinary people who enjoy the murders of Ukrainians. This is a genocide.

It is terrible that the world is trying to bargain with Russia, not realizing that their price is our lives. She said that the act of leaving an explosion for a talented child speaks for itself.

Monko is confident that Ukraine will prevail despite the country's destruction.

She said that the war was for the right to live on the land.
