The developer said that the game will be available on every platform except Nintendo Switch. V-bucks were locked to Sony's platforms, but starting with the v20.40 update that will be released on Tuesday, you will be able to access those V-bucks as well.

Sony has been reticent to play nicely with the cross- platform ambitions of the company. Cross-play was an option for players on both consoles before Sony enabled it in September. According to court documents released as part of the lawsuit against Apple, the cash cow of the game is the Sony console. PS4 generated more than half of the total revenues between March and July of 2020. The second-highest platform was Xbox One.

We don't know how revenue splits out. In April, March, and February, the game was the most downloaded free to play game on the PS5 and PS4 in the US and EU, according to Sony.

The upcoming change only applies to purchased V-bucks. V-bucks can be earned through things like battle passes and Save the World mode, and they are accessible on every platform where the game is available. V-bucks won't appear in your wallet until you log into the game on the console platform where you buy them.
