Starbucks will cover the costs of employees who have to travel out of state to receive abortion services, the latest in a growing list of employers to offer the benefits after a leak two weeks ago showed the Supreme Court is poised to overturn Wade.

In a statement, the company said it was committed to ensuring that employees have access to quality healthcare regardless of where they live or what they believe.

If abortion and gender-affirming care are not available within 100 miles of their home, Starbucks employees and their dependents will be reimbursed for travel expenses.

The news comes two weeks after Levi Strauss and Amazon said they would pay for employees to travel to states with less restrictive abortion laws, while others are considering taking action, after a draft opinion from February showed the Supreme Court may soon let states outlaw abortion.
