The filing states that Trump may be paid for some social media content.
Last week, Musk said he would try to lift the ban on Trump if his deal was completed.
After the January 6 insurrection, Trump said he would launch Truth Social as a rival to popular sites. The social media network's launch has been plagued by technological problems, a public wait for users, and the resignations of two company leaders. Two weeks ago, Trump began to make regular posts on Truth Social. Last week, Musk said he would allow Trump to return to his account if his takeover deal was completed.
DWAC is trying to take truth social public. The blank check company is being investigated by the Securities and Exchange Commission over claims it held conversations with Trump before going public.
The Downloads of Truth Social went up after the news of the acquisition by Musk. According to data from Sensor Tower, the Truth Social app store installations hit one million for the week of April 25 to May 2.
