After suggesting several days ago that users switch their accounts to the latest-tweets feed, Musk hit the platform again on Sunday to repeat the advice. Explain how to do it.
The Home feed shows the most interesting tweets from your previous interactions with the app.
It's possible to change the feed to show a reverse chronological order. The amount of content in your timeline is reduced from accounts that you don't follow.
Musk said he believes the algorithm is manipulating users in ways you don't realize, prompting him to pin a message to his account on Sunday explaining to his 93 million followers how to display the latest tweets instead.
Very important to fix your Twitter feed:
1. Tap home button.2. Tap stars on upper right of screen.
3. Select “Latest tweets”.
You are being manipulated by the algorithm in ways you don’t realize.
Easy to switch back & forth to see the difference.

Last week, Musk said that the latest tweets were better than what he had previously said.
Jack Dorsey spoke up for the algorithm-generated feed, pointing out that it was good at showing stuff you wouldn't otherwise see.
The feed was designed to save you time when you are away from the app.
Musk said that he was not suggesting malice in the algorithm, but that it was trying to guess what you might want to read and that it inadvertently manipulated your viewpoints. Open source can be used to solve trust and efficacy.
The feed was not designed to manipulate, according to the reply from Dorsey. It was designed to catch you up and work off what you engage with, though he acknowledged that it can have unintended consequences, which is why one should be able to choose.
The community called for the company to bring back the latest-tweets feed, which it did a couple of years later. It's possible that the research that led to the default option on the platform was the result of user engagement being boosted by the feed. Musk has said that he would like to move away from the ad-based model of the company in favor of other forms of revenue, such as charging a small fee to commercial and government accounts.
It seems that Musk's bid to acquire Twitter is far from a done deal. He said last week that he was putting the process on hold because of the fake account data.
The bid faces a number of regulatory hurdles after the review. If Musk takes on the business, he may want to make the latest-tweets feed the default option. Some long-time users of the platform are worried about what will happen if the deal goes through.
