One person was killed and four others were critically injured in a shooting at a church in Southern California on Sunday afternoon, according to local authorities.
The sheriff's department in Orange County received a call about a shooting at a church.
The department said one person died at the scene of the shooting, four people were critically wounded and one person suffered minor injuries.
The sheriff's department said that a weapon that may be involved was found at the scene.
No one should have to fear going to their place of worship.
