Frank Gore

After running for 16,000 yards in the National Football League, Frank Gore is going into the boxing ring. Gore had his first pro boxing match on his 39th birthday against Olorunsola in Biloxi, Miss., for Gamebred Boxing. Gore knocked out Olorunsola in the fourth round.

Gore redeemed himself in the ring after his exhibition loss to Williams. After taking the split decision over Gore, Williams retired from combat fighting. Gore was interested in a second fight with Williams, but he won't get that chance.

Gore had a good showing against Olorunsola in his first official pro fight, because certain parts of the Williams fight were embarrassing. Gore was knocked through the ropes in the second round against Williams and looked overwhelmed by the onslaught of haymakers thrown by Deron.

Gore and his team made it a point to come out more aggressively this time, and based on the outcome, their mission was accomplished. How far can Gore go with this new career path? This is the age when we usually see combat fighters wind down, whether they decide to or not.
