We have entered a new territory, folks. It's basically correct for the first time, that's what Musk said.
Musk, who may or may not buy Twitter soon, did what he always does on Saturday and posted some musings to his account. There was a call for users to change their feeds to show the latest ones in reverse chronological order. Despite a recent attempt to force the home timeline on users, the way the service was meant to be read was not changed.
Musk believes that the algorithm can subconsciously manipulate you. This is to Musk's credit, and it is backed up by research. Over time, a math equation that only shows you what you want to see will make it harder to accept other sources of information.

The idea that the algorithmic feed was designed for people who don't check Twitter was taken a little offense to by Jack Dorsey. In a reply to another user, Dorsey admitted that the algorithm can have "unintended consequences" but insisted that it wasn't designed to manipulate users.

Again, in fairness to Musk, he didn't say the algorithm was intended to manipulate, just that it happens. This is all an excuse for me to tell you that Musk is right about this, that you need to switch your feed from home tolatest pronto. Don't allow the machine to send you a message.
The only way to sort internet content is chronological. Time is not as easy to manipulate as these programs are.
