The war zone in Ukraine is not dangerous because the leaders of the House and Senate visited the country, according to Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene.

It is possible for U.S. elected politicians like Nancy Pelosi to visit Zelensky in Ukraine without fear of war, while they eagerly give billions to fund their proxy war.

McConnell and other GOP senators met with Zelenskyy. Prior to this visit, Democrats had mostly visited Zelenskyy in Kyiv. Biden traveled to Ukraine last weekend and held a Mother's Day meeting with Zelenskyy's wife, Olena Zelenska. Zelenskyy was escorted out by an armed guard during Nancy Pelosi's surprise visit to Zelenskyy in early May.

The Russian invasion of Ukraine was the reason why Greene struck down nearly every bill passed in Congress.

Congress has put together at least 19 bills in response to the Russian invasion. There was an allocation of $40 billion in additional aid to Ukraine, which received 57 no votes from Republican representatives.

The first federal aid package for Ukraine was approved by Congress. Congress approved a $13.6 billion package in March, but funds have quickly run out. Since the beginning of the invasion, the US has sent $54 billion in aid to Ukraine.
