The status of Sidney Crosby and Tristan Jarry is given by Emily Kaplan. (0:47)

Crosby did not play in the Game 6 loss to the New York Rangers, but he was on the ice for the Pens on Saturday.

According to sources, Crosby was held out of the loss with a concussion. He was hurt after taking a hit from the Rangers' Jacob Trouba in Game 5.

Sullivan wouldn't say if Crosby has been cleared for contact, but he did say that Crosby did not wear a non-contact jersey. On Friday, Crosby was with skills coach Ty Hennes.

Crosby had nine points in the first five games.

Also returning to the ice Saturday was starting goaltender Tristan Jarry, who has yet to play in this playoff series due to injury, and Rickard Rakell, who hasn't played since Game 1 after taking a hard hit.

Sullivan told reporters that the players would be going to New York.
