The comedy is coming to television nearly three decades after it hit theaters. According to Deadline, Joseph McGinty Nichol, better known as McG, is producing a show for CBS.
The original TrueLies starred Arnold Schwarzenegger as Harry Tasker and Jamie Lee Curtis as his wife, Helen Tasker. In the film, Harry is an elite counterterrorism operative and secret agent who hides his double life by pretending to be a computer salesman. When Helen becomes bored by their marriage, Harry's attempt to liven up their love life inadvertently brings her into his world of international espionage.
The premise is the same for the show. Steve Howey will play Harry and Ginger Gonzaga will play Helen on the series. The first image from the show is below.
