This offer is once again available. An email was sent to my wife today that states that this is active from January 1 to December 31, 2022. I completed this offer last year and it was very simple. You only receive redeemable points, but it is still a great deal. You can read more about my experience. I have updated the dates under The Deal.
The Doctor of Credit notes that this has been extended. I was able to refer my wife's business and I flew the qualifying paid round trip in October. The 25,000 bonus points are not a Companion Pass or elite-qualifying points bonus. She had to answer a few questions about how much her business spends on travel, but she answered them with a non-pandemic level of travel in mind. Some people haven't been approved. If you were worried about inconveniencing them, it really doesn't take much effort for your travel manager to complete their part here.
The official email from Southwest saying you can book it arrived a couple of weeks later, and by a strict reading of the terms you had to wait until that email arrived to book. The original post is followed by another.
Refer your company's travel manager to Southwest Airlines and you will get 25,000 Rapid Reward points. If your company's travel manager is willing to register with Southwest, this looks to be a pretty easy 25K points, though it will probably require you to fly a round trip flight within 90 days. That seems like a good deal.
There are terms and conditions.
You could earn 25,000 Rapid rewards for referring your company.
1. Register and refer.
Register between January 1, 2022, and December 31, 2022, and fill out the information about the person who is the travel decision maker for the company you are referring. If the company you are referring has a Southwest Business account, a managed contract or a business travel relationship, you will not be able to earn 25,000 Rapid Rewards bonus points.
You need to provide your Southwest Rapid Rewards account number at the time of registration to register for this promotion. If you don't have a Rapid Rewards account, you can register for one by going to Southwest.com/rapidrewards. The accounts are free.
2. Rapid rewards bonus points can be earned based on your company's path.
3. Reward yourself.
Please allow up to 4 weeks for your Rapid Rewards bonus points to post to your account after either completing your flight activity or signing a contract with Southwest Business. Your bonus will be on your statement.
Your company bonus promotion is non-transferable if you refer it. Rapid rewards bonus points are not counted towards A-list, A-list preferred, or Companion Pass qualification.
The offer is subject to change and may be canceled at any time without notice.
The person who enters the first referral for Southwest will be eligible to collect Rapid Rewards bonus points. If Southwest can't contact you, you're not eligible for a referral bonus. If Southwest can't reach the person you are referring, or if the company the referrer works for doesn't qualify for a relationship with Southwest, you won't be eligible to earn 25,000 Rapid Rewards bonus points. If the company you are referring already has a SWABIZ account, a managed contract, or a business travel relationship with Southwest Business, you will not be eligible to earn 25,000 Rapid Rewards bonus points.
Southwest has the sole and exclusive right to resolve all disputes between two or more referrers who are referring the same company, and all determinations by Southwest will be final and binding. Southwest has all of its rights and applicable Rapid Rewards rules and regulations.
Southwest reserves the right to amend, suspend, or change the Rapid Rewards program and/or Rapid Rewards program rules at any time without notice. Rapid rewards members don't have property rights in accrued points. The number of Rapid Rewards points needed for a particular Southwest flight is set by Southwest and will vary depending on destination, time, day of travel, demand, fare type, and other factors, and is subject to change at any time until the booking is confirmed.
The process is very easy. You fill out a form for your company's travel manager to refer them to SWABIZ by giving their name, email, and phone number. They will receive an email with a link to agree to receive information about travel management solutions from Southwest Business. If the company qualifies for a managed relationship or if the company qualifies to enroll in SWABIZ, they will have 30 days to do so. That seems like a lot.
Some companies may not be eligible for Southwest Business booking due to a threshold of annual travel required. If your company only qualifies for the SWABIZ account and you need to fly a round trip to get the points, you will need to book the trip after your company enrolls.
You will have 90 days from the day your company enrolls, and your company will have 30 days to enroll after you refer them, so you may not want to enroll immediately. This could be an easy 25K points for those traveling anyway and their companies. These points do not qualify for elite status or the Companion Pass based on my personal experience.
