Putin coup is underway and 'impossible to stop,' says Ukraine's military intelligence chief

According to the military intelligence chief of Ukraine, a coup is underway to overthrow Putin.

Major General Budanov said that a Russian military defeat would cause the country to collapse.

Budanov said that the change of leadership of the Russian Federation will happen eventually.

Budanov was asked if this means that a coup attempt is currently in motion.

It is impossible to stop them from moving in this way.

Insider previously reported that all of the grievances that traditionally motivate a coup in Russia are in place, but Putin has spent decades making his regime "coup-proof."

The Russian dictator is more likely to be overthrown due to a poor military performance, a struggling economy, and the existence of the FSO and the FSB.

It follows a report that an unnamed Russian billionaire said that Putin is very ill with blood cancer.
