Three people were shot near Deer District outside Fiserv Forum near the conclusion of Friday night's Game 6 between the Milwaukee Bucks and the Boston Celtics, sending fans there scampering through the streets.

A man and a woman were taken to the hospital by a third person, according to the Milwaukee Fire Department. Three people have injuries.

The man is in police custody.

The incident took place outside of the Deer District area, according to Barry Baum.

The first opportunity for fans to pick up tickets was on Friday, when the team was in the middle of its Eastern Conference semifinal series against the Celtics. There were metal detectors surrounding the bars and entrance to the stage.

The Deer District had reached the 11,000-person capacity set for the watch party before Game 6.

Many in the crowd ran in different directions after hearing gunshots with a little more than a minute remaining in the fourth quarter of Boston's victory.

A large police presence remained outside the arena hours after the game ended. There is an ongoing investigation.
