Donald Trump posted a statement on his alternative social platform, Truth Social, about the CEO of electric car maker,Tesla, saying that he was putting his planned acquisition of the social networking site on hold.
There is no way that Musk will buy the company at such a high price since he knows it is a company that uses fake accounts.

On Friday morning, Musk shared an article that focused on the fact that less than 5 percent of users on the platform were actually fake. Along with the link, Musk stated that he was pausing the buyout that supported the data.
Musk had previously stated that he was aware of the issues with the service and that he was going to try and fix them. In his comments, Trump addressed the issue.
By the time you get rid of them, what do you have? The former president didn't say much.
If it weren't for the ridiculous Billion Dollar breakup fee, Musk would have already been gone.
The launch of Trump's Truth Social was plagued with issues early on, including plummeting traffic, long wait times to join, and low engagement. The former president did not start posting on the site until this month.
Musk said he would put Trump back on the platform. If his account was activated again, Trump would not rejoin. The former president says he will only use Truth Social. It is possible that Trump is a draw for conservative social media users.
When you consider that context, Trump's post makes a lot more sense. The news in April that Musk was going to buy Twitter caused a large influx of new followers for conservative users. Right wing users who have been searching for an alternative platform to the social media service were very interested in Musk's claims of bringing back banned accounts and loosened content moderation policies. If conservatives decide to rejoin the social network after Musk's deal goes through, that could pose new problems for the network.
Trump would have to walk a fine line between sparring with his competitors and offending conservatives who have recently started praising Musk. Musk backing out is the best-case scenario for Trump.
