If you consider yourself a Lego fan, you're going to want to read this story and visit this website before Tuesday, May 17th. Lego is about to put its third and possibly final set on sale, and you can vote for the five fan-made creations that will become a reality.

The Lego sets were designed by fans, not the brickmaker, and Lego originally rejected each and every one. Lego's Bricklink Designer Program will give a gorgeous 1950s diner, a working waterfall, a huge train station, and more a second chance at official Lego stardom.

Each of the five winners will be limited to 10,000 units, with 10 percent of the proceeds going back to the creators for their work. It's possible that the favorites will go fast because they're pricey and Lego only ships them to 31 countries. The Lego Store set was the fastest to leave.

This time around, there are many wonderful creations vying for your attention.

The original version of the 1950s diner was submitted in March of 2016

The Chalet was submitted back in October.

The modular spaceship concept was from all the way back in 2011.

The $229.99 Working Waterfall has some clear improvements and will be submitted in December 2019.

January 2020 was when the steam powered science laboratory was submitted as the Exploratorium.

The Mountain View Observatory with its floor-by-floor levels was submitted in February of 2016

The modular construction site was from back in 2016

The Train Station: Studgate was submitted in May.

Love seeing those transparent rolling garage door pieces being put to such good use.

The Brickwest Studios was originally submitted in April 2020.

Lego is behind this whole thing, so there's little chance they won't ship. Lego made more of the Castle in the Forest because of a glitch in the ordering process. Lego only ships to 31 countries, and it could be quite a while before you see them.

Our story is about the previous winning sets.
