A judge in Russia denied her request for house arrest, meaning she will stay in jail for another 30 days. Her attorney told the Associated Press that she did not get out of jail on Friday. The attorney said that because of the short nature of the custody extension, a trial might be coming soon. She left the courtroom with a hood over her head and wore an orange sweatshirt. She left her appearance wearing cuffs on her wrists. She has been in custody in Russia since February after she was accused of having drugs in her luggage. She has had her requests for house arrest denied at least two times. United States officials have classified her as wrongly imprisoned and are trying to negotiate her release. Both the NBA and the WNBA put their logos on their courts to show their support for her. The players from the leagues have shirts with messages on them.
