Ryan Kent believes that Rangers are destined for European glory after a beautiful struggle.

The lack of expectation has helped the Ibrox side reach a European final for the first time in 14 years.

I don't think anyone would have expected Rangers to reach the final of this competition.

It is a platform where we can showcase ourselves under less pressure. Going into the final, all that will change.

Everybody is expecting us to win.

The 25-year-old moved to Ibrox fromLiverpool and has been trying to be a part of Rangers success story since.

This has been a journey this team has been on for four years since they beat UFA to get into the competition.

The journey has been a beautiful struggle, each year we wanted to progress further than the previous year and we were able to get to the final.

It is something I have always wanted to do in my career, to try and get to the top of European football, and it is an opportunity I will relish.

Belief has grown with each victory

The players started to believe they could win the Europa League after their famous victory over the tournament favorites.

Kent said that the players came away from that game saying, "at what point they start taking us seriously?"

We beat a great team in Dortmund and that gave us the confidence to think we can go all the way.

It is the biggest game of our careers, but I don't think we will let the occasion get the better of us.

We will go into the game with the same mindset that we have had throughout the competition. We have come up against some top-class opposition and nothing has changed going into the final.

Without being naive, we are going to win.
