Will the FA Cup be won by either Manchester City or Chelsea when the two teams face each other at Wembley Stadium on Sunday?

The Women's Super League title was the first for holders and three-time winners, and they are going for the double.

Manchester City won the Continental League Cup in March and are aiming for their fourth FA Cup triumph and second piece of silverware this year.

It will be the first time that the teams have met in the showpiece event, which will be shown live on BBC One.

The men's and women's finals will be played on the same weekend for the first time.

New crowd record?

The previous record for a Women's FA Cup final was set in the year 2018?

A record attendance looks on the cards, with the FA announcing on 11 May that more than 50,000 tickets had already been sold.

After issuing more than 45,000 tickets for the rearranged final at Wembley, the FA was hopeful of breaking the attendance record.

Double-double for dominant Chelsea?

Last year, the Blues won the trophy for the second year in a row, after they beat Arsenal in the final.

The Blues won the WSL title and League Cup in 2020-21 after their first domestic treble five months ago.

They have won five of the past six domestic trophies on offer.

They beat City at home in February and away in November, but that match took place when the team was injured.

In the WSL, they have won 18 of their 22 games, including their past nine in the top flight.

In-form City aiming for number four

City have won 13 games in a row, including the League Cup final win over Sunday's opponents.

They finished third in the league, above Manchester United, despite a poor start to the season.

In November of last year, after a loss to Chelsea, City sat in ninth place, 12 points off the top.

If they win their fourth title, they will move one clear of their opponents in the all-time record books.

Three of the past five FA Cup finals have been won by the North West outfit.

Unstoppable in attack and immoveable in defence

The route to Wembley saw them edge past Villa and win their first four games, before a feisty last-four encounter with Arsenal was settled thanks to goals by Guro Reiten and Ji So-yun.

They have conceded one goal and scored 17 across their four ties, despite facing WSL opposition at every stage of the tournament.

The City team has excelled in the cup this season. In their first three rounds, they beat third-tierNottingham Forest , embarrassed rivals Manchester United and defeatedEverton.

The emotional win over West Ham was the first for City since the return of forward Chloe Kelly after a serious knee injury.

The FA Cup was won by City in November 2020 thanks to late extra-time goals from Georgia Stanway and Janine Beckie.
