It is valid for at least 3 months after the day you plan to leave.
Before you travel, you must check your passport. Extra months may have been added to your passport's expired date if it was issued before 1 October.
If you think your passport doesn't meet the requirements, contact the embassy of the country you are visiting. If you need to renew your passport, do so.
