Crash Landing On You is a film about a South Korean heiress who accidentally crosses the border into North Korea and lands in a paragliding accident. Ri Jeong-hyeok is an officer in the North Korean army. Rather than turn her in, Jeong-hyeok decides to help her return home and fall in love with her.

The relationship between North and South Korea is a serious subject and the concept for this hugely popular star-crossed romance is quite odd. Several defectors have praised the touching drama for its accuracy and attention to detail in depicting everyday North Korean life, and the series even had a defector on its writing team.

Two years after Crash Landing on You ended, the two leads fell in love and got married.

Crash Landing On You can be watched on the streaming service.

An explosion kills the U.S. President and most of Congress, leaving a relatively low ranking politician to step up as the new commander-in-chief. Park Mu-jin, a quiet scientist who is more comfortable teaching chemistry than arguing policy, is the new Minister of Environment in the South Korean adaptation of Designated Survivor: 60 days.

60 days feels more desperate than the U.S. original, with the meek, inexperienced President Park even less suited to his new role than the President. The new president of South Korea has to deal with the immediate threat of North Korea and the U.S. pushing its own agenda. 60 days is complete with a set run of 16 episodes so viewers can expect a solid conclusion and not have to struggle through a third season.

Designated Survivor: 60 days can be watched on the internet.
