The Dallas Cowboys and Washington Commanders are both tied for the easiest schedule of the 2022.
There were 17 regular-season games last season. The last regular-season games will be played on January 8, 2023. The playoffs will run through Super Bowl LVII in Arizona.

It's not a big deal that the Bills will win the AFC East for a third straight year. That is a trend. Look at the start of the season. The Ravens and Dolphins are on the road in the first seven games. The Ravens won the division to become the latest team to go from last place to first. This has happened in 17 of the past 19 seasons, and the Ravens are in a great position to do it again. Lamar Jackson, who is playing on the fifth-year option of his first-year deal, is one of six Ravens who suffered season-ending injuries last year. The bye week will see three wins for the Steelers. The first five games are tough, but every game before the bye will be difficult for a new quarterback to navigate. The Pittsburgh defense is stout, but they will be facing formidable offenses of Buffalo, Miami, and Cincinnati. The Eagles, Eagles, and the Browns are not easy to walk in the park. The Cowboys have won the division in back-to-back years. The last time the same team won the division in back-to-back years was when Philadelphia did it. The Cowboys haven't gone to the playoffs in back-to-back years. Read more from Todd.
After the bye, the Giants will win twice as many games as before. Two wins in their first eight games and four in the final nine. It is a result of the tough early schedule, the easier post-bye schedule, and the time it takes to get used to a new coaching staff. Read more from Jordan.
Washington made the playoffs after winning 10 games. First-round receiver Jahan Dotson was drafted by the Commanders. In 2021, they faced six quarterbacks who finished in the top 10 in total QBR and nine of the top 14. They face two who were in the top 10 and five who were in the top 14. John Keim has more.

Detroit will win at least seven games. Anyone who watched the Lions closely last season knows they were competitive. The Lions could get at least seven wins for the first time in two years if they play as hard as they did in Dan Campbell's first season. The Packers will exceed coach Matt LaFleur's win totals in each of his first three seasons. The games against the two New York teams, Philadelphia and Washington, shouldn't be hard. That's already 10 victories. They need to go 4-3 in their remaining games. Rob Demovsky has more.
