Jerry Jeudy, a wide receiver for the Denver Broncos, was arrested in Colorado on Thursday.

According to the sheriff's office, Jeudy was taken into custody between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Jeudy was still going through the booking process early Thursday afternoon.

Broncos officials didn't respond to requests for comment.

Jeudy has been a regular attendee of the Broncos' program. Jeudy was the Broncos first-round pick.

He missed six games with an ankle injury and finished with 38 catches for 467 yards and no touchdown.

Jeudy was optimistic that Russell Wilson would mean a better season for him.

Jeudy said that he could help him a lot and that he was a Hall of Fame quarterback that came to the offense as a leader. He will help me a lot this year.
