There was no pornographic post on Facebook on Thursday morning. It is a video previewing Meta's upcoming virtual reality headset, Project Cambria.

The project is so secretive that the actual headset needed to be cut out in order to keep it under wraps.

Less than 24 hours after a small preview of its in-development augmented reality glasses was shared, Mark Zuckerberg shared a 56-second clip to his Facebook page, giving users a first look at mixed reality.

Mixed reality is a combination of augmented reality and virtual reality. It is interactive augmented reality.

A first-person perspective gives viewers a glimpse of what it would look like if they were wearing the gear. The video shows a demo that allows the Facebook CEO to interact with an augmented-reality creature in a real-world environment.

The app was created using Meta's Presence Platform, a tool the company created that will help developers build mixed reality experiences that blend physical and virtual worlds.

I keep coming back to the fact that it was a top secret. There are a lot of previously leaked images that can be found through a simple search.

According to Meta, Project Cambria will be a high-end virtual reality product that will feature rich color passthrough for enhanced mixed reality experiences.

The World Beyond app will be available for the Meta's popular Quest 2 virtual reality headset. Meta says it will be releasing a demo app showing the upcoming Presence Platform's capabilities and will open source it so developers can build upon it with their own creations. Next week, that drops for owners of Quest 2.
