A passenger lands a plane in Florida.

A passenger with no flight experience safely landed a single-engine airplane after the pilot suffered a suspected medical emergency and fell at the controls.

One of the two passengers on the plane radioed for help in a calm voice. The pilot is incoherent. I don't know how to fly the plane.

Robert Morgan, a certified flight instructor, was on a break when the call came in from the plane.

I rush over there and the room is very busy, and they say that the pilot is out. The people are on the plane. Morgan told CNN that they have no flying experience.

The passenger was told by the air traffic controller to hold the wings level, follow the coastline and attempt to descend after a nearly 10-minute exchange. Air traffic control at the airport took over.

Air traffic control was able to assist the passenger in piloting the plane despite his limited knowledge.

Learning how to land a plane takes about 20 hours of flight instruction. The passenger picked up the lesson in a matter of minutes.

The plane made a safe landing at the Palm Beach International Airport.

The passenger was praised by pilots and aviation experts.

The condition of the pilot has not been released by the FAA at this time.
