The Battle.net service was being attacked by a distributed denial of service. The attacks it was monitoring ended a little over an hour later.

The company warned that the attack may result in high latency and disconnections for some players.

Players were having issues with games such as World of Warcraft, Call of Duty, and Diablo III, based on reports on Downdetector.

In November, Battle.net experienced attacks that caused problems for players trying to play games.
