Jack Dorsey is trying to squash rumors that he will be the CEO once Musk takes charge. He said that he doesn't want to be the CEO of the company he co-founded.

In another response, he said that no one should be the CEO of the company.

There is a history with the leadership role at Twitter. The company's board fired him from his role as CEO in 2008 just two years after he helped start the company. In 2020, a group of investors on the board started trying to replace him after he returned to the CEO position. They cited his lack of innovation, but he was still able to keep his job. He stepped down in November of 2021.

Parag Agrawal took over as the CEO after the departure of Dorsey. It seems like he won't be around for long. It is rumored that Musk will serve as temporary CEO if the deal closes, as he is set to buy the company and take it private. It seems likely that Musk will want to find someone else to take over since he has to run both companies.

It made sense that Jack would be the choice. It seems like he's not happy with the direction the company is going, since he's been talking a lot about it. He seems to agree with Musk on a few things.

Jack said that it was time to roll the dice again and that he was done with being CEO.

nah. it's time to roll the dice again.

Isn't he still the CEO of Square? The answer is... kinda. According to a document sent to the US Securities and Exchange Commission, he requested the title change. No wonder people thought he would be a good fit for the job.
