A chained-up Obi-Wan Kenobi in Attack of the Clones.

Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones is 20 years old next week. It is the worst Star Wars film. People who saw Clones at a young age are now realizing they have a certain nostalgia for it. The star of a very prequel-based show has taken notice.

In a recent interview with the press, Obi-Wan Kenobi himself, Ewan McGregor, said he found it rewarding to see the prequel films get some love.

It was an odd experience to make those movies. It's frightening. The films were not very liked by the critics. They weren't written nicely about by the critics. At the time, we didn't hear people of your age. We meet people who love our films. It took us 15 years to hear that. It's so nice. It is really nice. I have changed my outlook. My relationship with Star Wars is different because of that.

The actor talked about his experience making the movies and what it was like to revisit them in preparation for Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi, which is out later this month. George Lucas had designed a new realm. He wanted to max out the technology that he was responsible for. We were very much on blue and green screens. It was hard work. It was difficult to be passionate about it and not have the films well received. It's great to have a new relationship with them. I hadn't seen them since they came out, so it was cool to watch them again. I like them. The third episode is really good. It's a really good movie.

He said that it was a phenomenal film and that he was standing next to him.
