The company had previously said that it was adding more staff at the theater to enforce its no-phones policy and that no one would be allowed to share the footage.

On Monday, a cell phone video of Williams and Oberholtzer performing a nude scene was leaked online. Take Me Out attendees have to keep their phones out of their hands during the show, so it's not clear how the poster was able to capture the footage. Second Stage Theater worked to ensure the privacy of the Take Me Out company by creating a phone-free space with locked phone cases at all performances and is appalled that this policy has been violated.

The theater will install a system to detect Smartphone Scofflaws.
