The new browser game is intended to help explain some of the privacy settings. You can play the game here.
A description of the game is on the site. You can learn how to take control of your Twitter experience by swimming through a sea of direct messages.
When you start the game, you will have to pick a language you want to play in, and then choose from one of four characters who will accompany Data the dog on a few levels. The character will not appear in text boxes. The game is simple and straightforward. One level has cats wearing ad boards, another has you avoiding troll and the last one has you collect five bones as quickly as you can.
If you get the bones, the game will explain something about the privacy settings of the social network. When you beat the cat ad level, you will see a message about how the platform personalizes your experience and where you can turn personalized ads on or off.
The game has a nice aesthetic. There are many shades of blue throughout the game, and I am a huge fan of the character designs. The location pin characters are great. The game is not hard to attempt a tough jump a few times, even though platforming can be clunky.
The company has rewritten its privacy policy and introduced the game.
So what’s different? We’ve emphasized clear language and moved away from legal jargon.
