Kevin Spacey will star in his biggest project since stepping away from acting after being accused of sexual harassment.

The historical drama 1242 will be directed by Spacey and stars Genghis Khan's grandson Batu Khan.
The project is being directed by Peter Soos and will be on sale at the market.
Spacey was cast in an Italian film last year.

Some of the men who came forward were men who said Spacey harassed them when they were teenagers or young adults. Spacey was accused of harassing some cast and crew members on the set of House of Cards, which he was starring in at the time. Spacey's character in the series, Frank Underwood, was written off. His publicist and agency dropped him as a client. Spacey denied some of the claims made against him, and never commented on others brought against him. The assault charges against Spacey were dropped in 2019. The actor and his production companies were ordered to pay $32 million to the producers of House of Cards for violating the show's sexual harassment policy.
