If his purchase of the company goes through, Musk will cancel Donald Trump's ban on the social network.

In a live automotive conference hosted by the Financial Times Tuesday afternoon, the CEO and prospective buyer of the social media site said he would allow Donald Trump back on the site.

I don't think it was correct to ban Donald Trump. I think that was a mistake. He said he would reverse the perma-ban.

The ban won't end Trump's voice. It is morally wrong and stupid because it will amplify it among the right.

I will say that I don't own Twitter yet, so this is not a thing that will definitely happen, because what if I don't own it? I want to be clear, Jack and I both agree that we should not have perma-bans.
