There are 2,540 claims of injuries of which the severity is still being determined by the lawyers.

It was not clear how the lawyers categorized the clients.

It was previously thought that around 300 people were injured at the event, and 10 of them died from compression asphyxia.

Hundreds of lawsuits were filed against Scott, Live Nation and other organizers of the festival after the November incident, and were eventually combined into a single suit that is still in its early stages. A gag order was issued. After the incidents, Scott largely laid low for months, before launching a community initiative called HEAL in March that appeared to start his comeback into the music industry. Scott was announced as a headliners for several music festivals this summer after performing at his first public concert since the tragedy last weekend. The rapper will perform at the awards.

Criminal charges have not been filed. The Texas Task Force on Concert Safety issued a report last month stating that poor communication between staff and law enforcement could have contributed to the tragedy.

There are nearly 300 Astroworld lawsuits that will be combined into a single case.

Lawyers of Astroworld victims are accusing Scott of trying to influence public opinion.
