Speaking virtually at a Future of the Car event hosted by the Financial Times, the CEO ofTesla called the move to ban Trump amorally bad decision and foolish in the extreme.

Musk doesn't think users should be able to say whatever they want on the platform.

He said that permanent bans undermine trust and that it's a town square where everyone can voice their opinion.

The comments come a month after the board agreed to be acquired by Musk.

I don't think it was correct to ban Donald Trump. I think that was a mistake because it made a lot of people in the county angry and it didn't result in Donald Trump not having a voice.
