The San Mateo County District Attorney said that Mike Tyson won't be charged for an incident on an airplane last month.

We reviewed the police reports of the San Francisco Police Department and the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office and have seen the videos collected by law enforcement from others on the airplane, according to the district attorney.

The conduct of the victim, the interaction between Mr. Tyson and the victim, as well as the requests of both the victim and Mr. Tyson, should not be charged in this case.

The Hall of Fame boxer was seen hitting a passenger in an edited video obtained by TMZ Sports. The passenger has blood on his forehead. An aggressive passenger began harassing Tyson and threw a water bottle at him.

The flight from San Francisco International Airport to Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport was canceled. Tyson and the other passenger were taken into custody by police in San Francisco.

The former champion has been involved in physical altercations. There was a 1989 incident in Los Angeles where Tyson was accused of striking a parking attendant with an open hand.

Tyson pleaded no contest to assault in 1998 after a car accident. He was placed on supervised release after a three-and-a-half-month jail stint.

Tyson retired from boxing in 2005. He was going to fight Roy Jones Jr. in 2020.

He was last seen ringside at the victory of Dmitry Bivol in Las Vegas on Saturday.
