According to police records, Baltimore Ravens running back Mike Davis had over $100,000 worth of jewelry stolen from his suburban Atlanta home on Wednesday.
Davis, an Atlanta native who played last season with the Atlanta Falcons, said on his website that his home was burgled on Saturday and that two men stole jewelry and a pair of cleats he wore to honor his father, who died of cancer in 2019.
Davis was at dinner on May 4 when his security system detected two males wearing hoodies with hoods over their heads, masks covering their faces and armed with handguns.
The investigation is active and more details are not being released.
A diamond necklace with the No. 28, valued at $25,000, is one of the items listed as stolen. The items taken from the home of Davis were listed.
Davis was released by the Falcons on May 2 after one season with the club, where he had 503 yards and three touchdown. He joined the Ravens on Tuesday.
