Tom Brady has agreed to join Fox Sports when his football career ends, the network announced Tuesday, months after the Tampa Bay Buccaneer walked back his retirement announcement.
Murdoch said on an earnings call that Brady's long term deal will start when he retires from football.
Brady will serve as a network ambassador for client and promotional initiatives, and will call the biggest NFL games with Kevin Burkhardt, according to Murdoch.
Brady was excited after the news was announced, but there was still a lot of unfinished business with the Buccaneers.
Murdoch said that they were delighted that Tom was committed to joining the Fox team.
Before Brady joined Fox Sports, the network lost two of its biggest personalities, Joe Buck and Troy Aikman.
Brady played for New England until he left the team in 2020 to join the Tampa Bay.
