Carrasco's penalty enough for Atleti to win Madrid derby (0:44)

The only goal of the game was a penalty byYannick Carrasco for Atleti Madrid. There is a time and a place.

The news that Kylian Mbappe had been spotted in the Spanish capital this week really made waves, as he has been linked with a move to Real Madrid.

The France international was pictured just down the road from the Real Madrid stadium on Monday, sparking speculation that he was close to a summer move.

According to sources, the president of Paris Saint-Germain, Nasser al Khelaifi, held talks with the player's representatives in the Middle East last month.

The lure of the 13-time European champion could still see him make one of the biggest free-transfer moves in the history of the game, as reported on Friday.

The first outlet to report the picture of Mbappe entering one of Madrid's top restaurants was Cadena COPE.

Live games and replays of LaLiga can be watched on ESPN+.

It wouldn't take long to get to the stadium from the restaurant owned by the chef. There are only two stops on Metro line 10 from Gregorio Maranon to Santiago Bernabeu. If you are a World Cup-winning footballer, you could make the journey in a chauffeur-driven car in less than 10 minutes.

According to the report, Mbappe was dining with his teammate, a former Real player who hails from Madrid. They were together in the city later that day with a picture posted on his social media accounts with a one-word caption.

The rest of the squad were given a few days off this week between Sunday's 2-2 draw with Troyes and Saturday's trip to Montpellier, so they can recuperate before the season ends.

On Monday, Mbappe and Hakimi met up for dinner with two other Real players.

When asked by a reporter from Cadena SER why the Paris Saint-Germain players had traveled to Madrid, Navas replied: "We have a few days of holidays."

The Costa Rica goalkeeper was guarded when asked about the possibility of Kylian Mbappe joining Real Madrid this summer, but he said he had no idea. I hope he stays with us. I haven't spoken to him about those personal issues.

Whether the purpose of his trip to Madrid was for business or pleasure, he certainly could have chosen a more low-key way to spend his break.
